Tip-top Maternity Top

On this rather gloomy gray day, I had the pleasure of meeting one amazing woman living right in my neighborhood. I found her by chance, through the LinkedIn network, which I still haven't mastered yet, but I firmly believe that finding her was more than just luck-of-the-draw. This extraordinary woman, Christine, is a mother (to a son born the day before my daughter!) and an eco-preneur as well. She balances both motherhood with her fair trade business which creates a very exciting maternity top called the "Akua-Ba Top". This super-soft top is made to flatter a growing mother's figure, with a sexy low cut top (enjoy that cleavage girls!), fair trade cotton, and a mini Akua-Ba doll to attach to the strings which tie around the back. African legends say that the Akua-Ba doll brings life and good luck. Now who couldn't use that?! Especially a lucky mama-to-be!

As if all of this wasn't enough to satisfy your ethical frenzy, for each top sold, a mosquito net is given to a pregnant woman in Burkina Faso to protect themselves and their children against malaria. I really cannot think of a better gift for one's self while pregnant (I wish I would have gotten one while I was pregnant!) or to someone you know who is expecting a little one. Each top comes beautifully packaged and waiting for one lucky lady, who is, well - a lady in waiting (for a little one)!
