My hairdresser would curse me if he heard this, but I've cheated on him. Instead of using the products that he uses and then persuades me ever so gently with every "fabulous" he throws at me, I have swayed from his advice and may never go back. I received a sample of an organic haircare product so amazing, I'm willing to roll the dice that my hairdresser will turn a blind eye when I come into the salon next time smelling like this product.
Lavender, lavender, lavender. I was an exchange student in France (light years ago!) and the family I lived with lived next to a field of lavender. Ever since then, I've been ALL about the purple scent. In candles, lip balm (yes!), chocolate (yes again!) and the necessary bodycare products. Now, it's gone to my head - literally. John Master Organics makes a Sea Salt Spray with Lavender that is now my favorite go-to product. Partially because it makes my hair a bit more "grittty" and style-able, and the other part being that it smells like lavender. Toss in the eco factoids like its USDA organic, not tested on animals, and has 3 ingredients all of which not only can you pronounce but you actually probably already have in your home (do NOT try and make this at home - I did and it was a DISASTER). It gives me a perfect beachy look with a whiff of country-fresh-roll-in-the-lavender scent.
Next on my list is John Masters Organics Lavender Rosemary Shampoo to top off my lavender locks, then I'll work my way through the rest of his organic line....so many products, not enough time or body parts!

I have always wanted to try the Sea Salt Spray! I remember finding it in a store and thinking, wow, those ingredients are so simple... I love that you tried making it at home :) I will have to try it out on my curls... Oh, and I LOVE lavender too!
