When we first moved into this apartment, we did a lot of renovations - correction - hubby made the renovations while I just waited til he finished to do the decorating. At the time I was going through a paint-one-wall-phase which thankfully was done in quite muted colors so it's not getting on my nerves. Yet.
So even though I'm not completely ready to go re-painting the walls, I am thinking about what move to make next design-wise. Replacing our rugs is a sure thing, but what to do about the walls? Hmm....this has got me thinking and poking around online and in interior magazines. I've seen a lot of one-wall wonders similar to the way that I painted rooms in our house, but what has really caught my eye is wallpaper done on only one wall. Maybe it sounds a little strange, but with the right wallpaper, it looks amazing - and not overdone (which is how I usually feel about wallpaper). Enter Bholu's wallpaper designs - simple and elegant, and whimsical enough that it doesn't feel like the room is closing in on you. Even though I *should* like the more "adult" wallpapers, I am a sucker for the monkey print. If the prints weren't enough to convince you, Bholu donates a portion of their proceeds to building schools in developing countries. The icing on the eco cake is that all of Bholu's products (I dare you to stop at obsessing only about the wallpapers) are fairly traded and made in India. Ah, true beauty from the inside out - for your interior!
